I am a painter and a printmaker. I was born in the Philippines, grew up in the United States, and currently live in Australia.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Washington in 2012. I studied observational drawing and painting, absorbing my surroundings and translating them onto canvas or paper. My paintings and prints serve as a record of specific experiences in the studio and landscape, observing the incidental motifs that present themselves over the course of a day, a week, or a year. A series of individual but related works forms a cohort, bound by shared passions and hidden meanings.
